BS ISO 23869:2021

What is ISO 23869 about?

ISO 23869 specifies a method for determining the self-levelling properties of sealants.

Who is ISO 23869 for?

ISO 23869 on sealants is useful for:

• Manufacturers of sealants used for construction
• Builders
• Civil engineers

Why should you use ISO 23869?

Sealants are used to connect and join the various parts and materials to the main structure helping in closing the gaps between the elements and surfaces of the construction and thus, preventing fluids and other substances from passing through surfaces and mechanical joints.

ISO 23869 gives a test procedure for determining self-levelling property using the horizontal mould at low temperature and inclined mould at normal temperature.

ISO 23869 let you manufacture the sealants with self-levelling properties to create smooth flat surfaces with very high compressive strengths to building constructions.
