This serialization covers the classes of ISO 24613-1 which is the LMF core model as well as classes provided by ISO 24613-2 which is the machine-readable dictionary, MRD, model and ISO 24613-3 (the etymological extension).
Who is ISO 24613‑4 for?
ISO 24613‑4 on LMF for TEI serialization is relevant to:

Why should you use ISO 24613‑4?
The term ‘Language Resource’ refers to a set of speech or language data and descriptions in machine-readable form, used for building, improving or evaluating natural language and speech algorithms or systems, or, as core resources for the software localisation and language services industries.
Lexical markup framework is the ISO International Organization for Standardization ISO/TC37 standard, that provides mechanisms that allow the development and integration of a variety of electronic lexical resource types.
Serialization is the process of converting an object into a stream of bytes to store the object or transmit it to memory, a database, or a file. ISO 24613‑4 helps you serialize a lexical markup framework that is in alignment with the Text Encoding Initiative (TEI) Guidelines, which can help you store large volumes of memory for specific documentation, data management and data processing needs.
