The utilization of wood as an energy resource has always been in a huge quantity around the globe. Its availability and properties have made it very useful and in demand as a structural material.
ISO 3129 helps you to know the technical specifications like general requirements for physical and mechanical testing of small clear wood specimens in order to ensure their high quality. It helps in determining the best quality wood, as the high variability in geometry and mechanical properties even within a single culm can harm the reliability and efficiency of the wood. ISO 3129 could help you in the standardization of wood to be used for construction, as contributes hugely in its implementation as a structural material.
