Capsule endoscopy helps doctors see inside your small intestine — an area that isn't easily reached with more-traditional endoscopy procedures.
Capsule endoscopes and patency capsules may be trapped within the small bowel proximal to strictures, or within diverticula, often necessitating surgical removal. To reduce such risks, it's important to conform to BS ISO 8600-8.
BS ISO 8600-8 provides us the measurement of the maximum length of longer direction of a capsule endoscope. BS ISO 8600-8 for capsule endoscopy contains all the information about how to operate the device, including conditions for storage and use, etc. It's important to include exact instructions on any special equipment that the machine needs to be used with it.
