BS ISO 965-1+A1 is a British Standard on ISO general purpose metric screw threads. BS ISO 965-1+A1 is a part of ISO 965 specifies a tolerance system for ISO general purpose metric screw threads (M) according to ISO 261.
BS ISO 965-1+A1 gives an outline about the ISO general purpose screw threads - Basic profile, general plan, gauges and gauging.
Who is BS ISO 965-1+A1- ISO general purpose metric screw threads for?
BS ISO 965-1++A1 on isotropic and orthotropic fibre-reinforced plastic composites is useful for:
- Manufacturers of automobiles
- Manufacturer of aviation industry
- Manufacturing of aerospace and aeronautics

Why should you use BS ISO 965-1+A1- ISO general purpose metric screw threads?
Metric thread is in the middle of the inch course and fine thread spectrum. As a result, the designer can use both sorts of thread. It's a better option for vibration resistance and provides a greater stress area in the screw's cross section. Without the need for gauging, a commercial finish can be applied.
BS ISO 965-1+A1 provides you with the required characteristics of tolerance, thread engagement multiple start threads, formulae, and designs As a manufacturer, this assists in the production of ISO general purpose metric screw threads of high quality.   BS ISO 965-1+A1 assists you in improving the quality of ISO general purpose metric screws y including all the qualities that make them best for use. Using BS ISO 965-1+A1 guidelines ensures quality assurance, safety and protection and efficiency at the workplace.
