What is ISO/IEC 23264-1 about?
ISO/IEC 23264-1 is the first part of the multi-series European standard that specifies properties of cryptographic mechanisms to redact authentic data. It defines the processes involved in those mechanisms, the participating parties, and the cryptographic properties.
ISO/IEC 23264-1 is helpful to you because it enables you to disclose only the information that is necessary to the receiver. This privacy-preserving data sharing is done through a redaction attestation scheme.
Who is ISO/IEC 23264-1 for?
ISO/IEC 23264-1 on Information security is useful for:
- Cyber security experts
- IT industry
- IT professionals
- Any entity responsible for providing safety guidelines to organizations
Why should you use ISO/IEC 23264-1?
This digital attestation helps to provide data integrity and data origin authentication by using a digital signature. Redactable attestation helps in verifying the message even when certain parts of the message are erased, or removed permanently. With the help of ISO/IEC 23264-1, the attestor can define the message which is redacted later.
ISO/IEC 23264-1 will help you in focusing the algorithms for the authenticity-preserving redaction of specific document formats.
ISO/IEC 23264-1 helps in the redaction of digital documents without addressing the authentic data.
ISO/IEC 23264-1 is useful for you as it helps to reveal the information which is necessary to the receiver. This privacy-preserving data sharing is done through a redaction attestation scheme.
Overall, SO/IEC 23264-1 will help you in keeping the data authenticated with cryptographic properties. These cryptographic mechanisms help in the redaction of authentic data which ultimately helps in securing the information.
