What is DD IEC/PAS 60539-1-1 – Blank detail specification for sensing applications about?
DD IEC/PAS 60539-1-1 is a part of an international standard that focuses on thermistors used for sensing applications.
DD IEC/PAS 60539-1-1 provides a blank detail specification for directly heated negative temperature coefficient thermistors for assessment level EZ.
DD IEC/PAS 60539-1-1 applicable to sensing application assessment level EZ and coefficient thermistors, typically made from transition metal oxide materials with semiconducting properties. These thermistors have metallized connecting pads or soldering strips and are intended to be mounted directly onto substrates for hybrid circuits or on printed boards.
Who is DD IEC/PAS 60539-1-1 – Blank detail specification for sensing applications for?
DD IEC/PAS 60539-1-1 on Blank detail specification for sensing applications is useful for:
- Manufacturers and suppliers of thermistors
- Sensor and monitoring device manufacturer
- Dealers and distributions of thermistors
- Regulatory authorities
- Test providers for thermistors

Why should you use DD IEC/PAS 60539-1-1– Blank detail specification for sensing applications?
A blank detail specification is a supplementary document to the sectional specification and contains requirements for style and layout and minimum content of detail specifications.
DD IEC/PAS 60539-1-1 presents you with the procedure to create a blank detail specification for directly heated negative temperature coefficient thermistors for assessment level EZ. It helps in producing a product specification for thermistors that are used in electronic equipment.
DD IEC/PAS 60539-1-1 is a supplementary document to the generic specification and contains requirements for style and layout and minimum content of detail specifications. Users can consider the content of DD IEC/PAS 60539-1-1 while preparing the detailed specifications.
DD IEC/PAS 60539-1-1 provides give the following information:
- Whether bulk packed or taped and if taped, drawing or references
- The dimensions of the immediate packaging and the number of thermistors packed
- The dimensions of the outer package and the number of immediate packages
