Why should you use this standard?
Psychosocial risks at work can be a major cause of stress, and with stress affecting the mental and physical wellbeing of over 40 million workers in the European Union each year, PAS 1010 is a good investment to improve management techniques and overall company performance. It sets the benchmark for psychosocial risk assessment and management and helps assessors to address this area of health and safety more effectively.
PAS 1010 starts by giving an overview of psychosocial risk management and its policies and key principles, before demonstrating how to implement this process. The standard also specifies how to monitor performance, do best practice management reviews and develop the right policies to minimise work-related stress and improve the overall conditions of employment for everyone.
