What is PAS 1201 - Properties of graphene flakes about?
PAS 1201 provides guidance on information to be provided by manufacturers and suppliers of graphene flakes in order to provide comparative information to prospective users. PAS 1201 includes the characterization of particle morphology and other physical and chemical properties.
PAS 1201 is relevant to users who wish to compare the basic properties of graphene flake materials from different manufacturers who might use different precursors, manufacturing routes and post-treatments.
Who is PAS 1201 - Properties of graphene flakes for?
PAS 1201 on properties of graphene flakes is useful for:
- Graphene flakes manufacturers
- Manufacturing units of transistor circuits and semiconductors
- Research & Development teams
- Materials processing and test equipment manufacturers
- Procurement managers
- Researchers and policymakers.
Why should you use PAS 1201 - Properties of graphene flakes?
PAS 1201 is of interest to materials processing and test equipment manufacturers, procurement managers, researchers, and policymakers.
PAS 1201 covers specified particle thickness ranges, represented as a particle thickness distribution. PAS 1201 helps you to indicate whether the data provided with the batch of material are representative or measured directly on the batch supplied, or a combination of the two. For example, properties measured on the graphene batch for quality control purposes could be marked with an asterisk accompanied by an explanatory note. The sampling strategy is further covered.
PAS 1201 also informs that the purity of a sample of graphene flakes depends upon a number of factors including, for example, the source of graphite or precursor, the processing route, and any post-processing treatment.
