What is PD CLC/TS 50707 about?
PD CLC/TS 50707 discuss clothes washing machines and washer dryers for household and similar use. PD CLC/TS 50707 provides a measurement and evaluation method for the determination of the representative maximum temperature reached inside the base load during the washing cycle of a washing machine or washer-dryer.
The mean maximum temperature within the base load is measured with three temperature sensors, which are attached to towels and/or pillowcases placed in different, representative locations inside the drum.
Note: PD CLC/TS 50707 does not provide a method for measuring a temperature for the evaluation of hygiene performance.
Who is PD CLC/TS 50707 for?
PD CLC/TS 50707 on clothes washing machines and washer dryers for household and similar use is useful for:
- Washing machines and washer dryer's manufacturers and suppliers
- Quality control laboratories
- Service providers
- Maintenance personnel
Why should you use PD CLC/TS 50707?
The purpose of PD CLC/TS 50707 is to get an impression of the course temperature of the laundry during the washing process. This temperature can be different from the temperature curve of the water in the washing process, which helps to understand how the temperature affects laundry.
PD CLC/TS 50707 provides a method for the determination of temperature inside the laundry load, that is the easiest way to figure out what temperature will be most friendly to your clothes.
The Protease in biological washing powder breaks HB molecules into smaller molecules. This saves energy but if the temperature is too high then the enzyme will be denatured. So, PD CLC/TS 50707 provides a method for the determination of the temperature of the wash that needs to be carefully controlled.
