What is PD CLC/TS 52056-8-7- AMC-SS PLC communication profile for neighborhood networks about?
PD CLC/TS 52056-8-7has been prepared by CLC/TC 13 "Electrical energy measurement and control". PD CLC/TS 52056-8-7 specifies the DLMS/COSEM communication profile using a compatibly extendable form (CX1) of Adaptive Multi-Carrier Spread-Spectrum (AMC-SS) PLC for neighborhood networks. Its structure is in line with the DLMS/COSEM framework as described in EN 62056-1-0[GK1].
The transport layer, the application layer, and the data model are as specified in the EN 62056 DLMS/COSEM suite.
Who is PD CLC/TS 52056-8-7- AMC-SS PLC communication profile for neighborhood networks for?
PD CLC/TS 52056-8-7 on AMC-SS PLC communication profile for neighborhood networks is useful for:
- Data Communication specialist
- Electrical engineers
- Network engineers
- Electronics and telecommunication industry
Why should you use PD CLC/TS 52056-8-7 - AMC-SS PLC communication profile for neighborhood networks?
PD CLC/TS 52056-8-7 shortly describes the basic concepts of the DLMS/COSEM model and protocols. The presented information and the practical examples given in PD CLC/TS 52056-8-7 provides the minimal necessary knowledge needed to be able to read metering data from a compliant device. PD CLC/TS 52056-8-7 implements a serial communication with the devices by binary HDLC protocol according to the DLMS/COSEM standard.
PD CLC/TS 52056-8-7 specifies an object-oriented data model, an application layer protocol, and media-specific communication profiles. DLMS/COSEM can be used for all utilities/energy kinds, all market segments, all applications and over virtually any communication media. The DLMS/COSEM PLC AMC-SS communication profile as specified in PD CLC/TS 52056-8-7 facilitates remote data exchange on Neighbourhood Networks (NN) between Neighbourhood Network Access Points (NNAP) and Local Network Access Points (LNAPs) or End Devices using AMC-SS technology over the low voltage electricity distribution network as a communication medium at the C interface.
