What is PD IEC TR 63238‑1 - Electrical signal properties, naming conventions and Interface control document (ICD) about?
PD IEC TR 63238 is a technical report on process management for avionics that discusses electronics design. PD IEC TR 63238‑1 provides the best industry guidance on electrical signal properties, naming conventions and interface control document (ICD) to ensure reducing errors and complications.
PD IEC TR 63238‑1 is the first part of a multi-part series that provides information and template to create an interface control document (ICD) for any project which includes electronic assemblies, such as electronic circuit card assemblies (CCAs) or electronic devices, connected.
PD IEC TR 63238‑1 proposes electrical signal naming conventions when interfacing electronic assemblies, and an example containing seven signal naming conventions is included.
Who is PD IEC TR 63238‑1 - Electrical signal properties, naming conventions and Interface control document (ICD) for?
PD IEC TR 63238‑1 on electrical signal properties, naming conventions and LCD is useful for:
- Electronic assemblies manufacturers
- Electronic engineers
- Research laboratories
Why should you use PD IEC TR 63238‑1 - Electrical signal properties, naming conventions and Interface control document (ICD)?
Interface Control Document (ICD) is a document that describes the interface to a system or subsystem. Interface Control Document (ICD) describe the inputs and outputs of a single system or the interface between two systems or subsystems.
PD IEC TR 63238‑1 assist original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in the preparation and maintenance of their electronic assemblies' interfaces and integration specifications to avoid misunderstanding of signals which can cause unnecessary design and integration errors and testing complications.
With the compliance and obedience to Interface Control Document (ICD) specification format mentioned in PD IEC TR 63238‑1, you can identify the parameters to be used in electronic assemblies for avoiding errors and testing complications.
