What is PD IEC TS 62341‑6‑5 - Organic light emitting diode (OLED) displays about?
PD IEC TS 62341‑6‑5 is the sixth part of Organic light emitting diode (OLED) displays in multi series standard.
PD IEC TS 62341‑6‑5 specifies the standard measurement conditions and dynamic range properties for OLED display panels and modules. More precisely, this document focuses on the specific aspects of the dynamic range properties.
Who is PD IEC TS 62341‑6‑5 - Organic light emitting diode (OLED) displays for?
PD IEC TS 62341‑6‑5 on Organic light emitting diode (OLED) displays is beneficial to:
- Manufacturers of digital display devices
- Manufacturers of laser displays
- Electronic engineers
- Research laboratory
Why should you use PD IEC TS 62341‑6‑5 - Organic light emitting diode (OLED) displays?
Organic light emitting diode (OLED) displays work without a backlight because it emits visible light.
PD IEC TS 62341‑6‑5 specifies the measuring equipment and methods for dynamic range properties used in Organic light-emitting diode (OLED) displays. The measuring methods are as follows:
- Peak luminance is useful for evaluating the luminance with size-varying peak size.
- Helps in determining the display's black level and constancy which are affected by luminance loading.
- Useful in identifying white and black when they are displayed simultaneously on a same frame
- Measures the capability of the representable dynamic range relative to the reference input signal.
By using PD IEC TS 62341‑6‑5 you can ensure the sustainability of these Organic light emitting diode (OLED) displays in different climatic conditions. By applying PD IEC TS 62341‑6‑5 you can improve the image quality and efficiency of these Organic light emitting diode (OLED) displays.
