What is ISO/TS 20758 - Abdominal physiological parameter detectors about?
ISO/TS 20758 is an international standard on Traditional Chinese medicine that outlines abdominal physiological parameter detectors (APPD) to ensure operational safety and performance in medicinal applications.
ISO/TS 20758 specifies the general requirements for the basic performance and safety of APPD.
ISO/TS 20758 covers the material, basic parameters, and testing method of abdominal parameter detectors.
Note: ISO/TS 20758 does not prescribe the clinical abdominal diagnosis associated with the findings obtained from the devices.
Who is ISO/TS 20758 - Abdominal physiological parameter detectors for?
ISO/TS 20758 on abdominal physiological parameter detectors is relevant to:
- Manufacturers of abdominal physiological parameter detectors
- Dealers and importers
- Testing labs and medical laboratories
- Pharmaceuticals involved in research and development
Why should you use ISO/TS 20758 - Abdominal physiological parameter detectors?
An abdominal physiological parameter detector (APPD) is a device that measures the force, abdominal deformation and temperature on the abdominal detection area using either stand-alone sensing heads or integrated sensing heads.
ISO/TS 20758 provides you with the test conditions, including ambient temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, warm-up, the accuracy of the inspection equipment, enabling users to test the validity and authenticity of the abdominal physiological parameter detectors.
ISO/TS 20758 also provides you with force detection, dynamic signal, overload capacity, the geometrical shape of force detector, detection position, biocompatibility, and more, which facilitates the usability and application of abdominal physiological parameter detectors.
With obedience and compliance of ISO/TS 20758, users can develop and assess abdominal physiological parameter detectors (APPD), and fulfil the necessary requirements that are in line with the regulatory requirements.
