What is ISO/TS 23016‑1 - Fine bubble technology in agricultural applications about?
ISO/TS 23016‑1 is first part of a multi-series standard that covers test method for evaluating the growth promotion of hydroponically grown lettuce that enhances the uptake of nutrient solution in lettuce to promote plant growth.
ISO/TS 23016‑1 specifies a test method for evaluating the effect of fine bubble water on the growth promotion of hydroponically grown lettuce by estimating the incremental gain in mass of the stems and leaves over a specified growth period.
Who is ISO/TS 23016‑1 - Fine bubble technology in agricultural applications for?
ISO/TS 23016‑1 on fine bubble technology in agricultural applications applies to:
- Companies researching application of fine bubble technology
- Companies providing fine bubble technology services
- Agri-companies involved in lettuce production
Why should you use ISO/TS 23016‑1 - Fine bubble technology in agricultural applications?
Application of fine bubble technology in agro and aqua farming can be a vital step towards the future as it promotes growth, saves resources and ensures safety of the product. Application of the technology to leafy vegetables in agriculture is already well-established, and this is being expanded to hydroponics as well.
ISO/TS 23016‑1 provides you guidance on test method for growth promotion on lettuce which includes conditions, test system, apparatus, materials for test, preparation for test, preliminary test for confirmation of reproducibility, test procedure and test report which enables you to perform the test and facilitate the production of lettuce hydroponically which requires less resources.
ISO/TS 23016‑1 provides you guidance on the test method on fine bubble technology to evaluate the growth promotion of hydroponically grown lettuce. ISO/TS 23016‑1 also provides you with step-by-step procedures to perform the method correctly to get accurate results.
Guidance in ISO/TS 23016‑1 enables you to apply fine bubble technology to hydroponically grow lettuce that enhances safety, growth and increases yield.
