What is BS EN IEC 63033‑3-Drive monitoring system about?
BS EN IEC 63033 discusses car multimedia systems and equipment. BS EN IEC 63033‑3 is the third part of BS EN IEC 63033 multi-series and discusses measurement methods.
BS EN IEC 63033‑3 specifies measurement methods for the drive monitoring system that is specified in IEC TS 63033-1:2017.
Who is BS EN IEC 63033‑3-Drive monitoring system for?
BS EN IEC 63033‑3 on car multimedia systems and equipment (drive monitoring system) is useful for:
- Car manufacturers
- Multimedia systems manufacturers
- Software engineers
- Automobile engineers
Why should you use BS EN IEC 63033‑3 -Drive monitoring system?
A drive-monitoring system sometimes called a driver state sensing (DSS) system is an advanced safety feature that uses a camera mounted on the dashboard to track driver drowsiness or distraction and to issue a warning or alert to get the driver's attention back to the task of driving.
BS EN IEC 63033‑3 specifies measurement methods for the drive monitoring system that is specified in IEC TS 63033-1:2017. IEC TS 63033-1:2017 specifies the model for generating the surrounding visual image of a drive monitoring system. The system allows drivers to monitor the car’s perimeter in real-time by using “free eye point” technology, which allows drivers to dynamically change the viewing perspective to obtain the most appropriate views according to the driving situation.
