What is ISO 21219-5- Service framework (TPEG2-SFW) about?
ISO 21219 is an international standard on intelligent transport systems that discusses traffic and travel information (TTI) via transport protocol experts group, generation 2 (TPEG2). ISO 21219-5 provides the best industry guidance on service framework (TPEG2-SFW) to enhance the efficacy of intelligent transport systems.
ISO 21219-5 is the fifth part of a multi-part series that establishes a method of conveying data for a wide range of applications that require the efficient transmission of point to multi-point data over potentially unreliable broadcast channels which is also suitable for point-to-point and multicast applications and may easily be encapsulated in Internet Protocol.
Under ISO 21219-5 together with the definitions of the general TPEG UML modelling rules and the particular physical TPEG representations for TPEG-binary streams (TISA: TPEG UML Conversion Rules) and tpegML files (TISA Specification: TPEG UML Conversion Rules), it replaces the former documents TPEG-INV and TPEG-SSF.
Who is ISO 21219-5-Service framework (TPEG2-SFW) for?
ISO 21219-5 on service framework (TPEG2-SFW) is useful for:
- Network service providers
- Computer engineers
- Data warehouses
Why should you use ISO 21219-5-Service framework (TPEG2-SFW)?
A service framework is exactly what it says a template/blueprint for writing new services.
ISO 21219 discusses traffic and travel information (TTI) via transport protocol experts group, generation 2 (TPEG2) and provides the best industry guidance on service framework (TPEG2-SFW).
ISO 21219-5 describes the basic capabilities of the generation 2 TPEG (TPEG2) for providing a multiplex of TPEG Services and applications.
As a result, ISO 21219-5 provides you with methods and procedures for enhancing transportation/travel information about different data sources that can benefit the network service providers and transfer protocol experts in ensuring faster and reliable transmission of data.
