SAE J328™ JAN2026 is a Surface Vehicle Recommended Practice covering minimum performance requirements and uniform procedures for dynamic cornering fatigue and dynamic radial fatigue testing of wheels intended for normal highway use and temporary use on passenger cars, light trucks, and multipurpose vehicles. The document defines test equipment, procedures, load calculations, test termination and suspension criteria, acceptance criteria, material-specific test factors, minimum cycle requirements, and standardized datasheets for reporting test results. It supersedes SAE J328 JUL2021 and adds a reference to SAE J3204.

Application Scope: Use this practice for evaluating wheels made from materials covered in Tables 1 through 4 and intended for passenger cars, light trucks, and multipurpose vehicles.
